Wenalyze was founded in Valencia in 2018 to turn payment data into something companies and banks can act on. Today we build real-time expense management and transaction intelligence from our offices in Valencia and London, for clients in Spain, the United Kingdom and Latin America.

Our story
- 2016The founding team starts working on data analytics for banks and insurers.
- 2018Wenalyze is incorporated in Spain.
- 2019We join INFINITECH, a Horizon 2020 programme, as task leader and pilot owner.
- 2022First private round, led by Athos Capital.
- 2023DataVerse goes into production with banks and insurers.
- 2024Second round, led by Bankinter.
- 2025We focus the company on expense management and launch Wenalyze Sync. Selected for Desafía Canadá 2.0.
- 2026Distribution partners in the United Kingdom and Latin America.

Carlos Albo Portero
Co-founder and CEO
Member of The Payments Association's Open Banking Working Group. Led Wenalyze's role in INFINITECH and teaches on three master's programmes at VIU.
Vicent Sebastiá Blanco
Co-founder and CTO
Studied at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Leads product and engineering, and teaches and supervises master's theses at VIU.
